Winter wonderland made accessible! In a game-changing move, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) revolutionized snow clearance in the region. In 2019, with support from the World Bank-funded ERKF project and Provincial Government grants, GDA acquired heavy machinery, including a four-wheel loader, a snow blower, and two tractors. This strategic investment ensured timely snow clearance and improved road accessibility during winter, leading to a remarkable boost in winter tourism in the enchanting Galiyat region. Now, visitors can embrace the snowy season with ease, immersing themselves in the breathtaking beauty that Galiyat has to offer.
Enhancing the tourist experience in Galiyat, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA), supported by the World Bank-funded ERKF project and Provincial Government grants, procured two electric tourist carts. A cleaner Galiyat is our mission! The Galiyat Development Authority is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring proper cleanliness and solid waste management in the region.
