Winter wonderland made accessible! In a game-changing move, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) revolutionized snow clearance in the region. In 2019, with support from the World Bank-funded ERKF project and Provincial Government grants, GDA acquired heavy machinery, including a four-wheel loader, a snow blower, and two tractors. This strategic investment ensured timely snow clearance and improved road accessibility during winter, leading to a remarkable boost in winter tourism in the enchanting Galiyat region.
