Experience the thrill of skiing, snow tubing, and breathtaking concerts at the Galiyat Snow Festival 2022! With picturesque views in Nathiagali and serene spots in Galiyat, this three-day extravaganza organized by the Galiyat Development Authority and the Directorate of Youth Affairs KP had it all. From snow hiking to archery competitions, bonfires to chairlift rides, there was something for everyone. Special guests, including Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif and Shaukat Yousafzai, added to the excitement. And let’s not forget the amazing performances by Khumariyaan and Deja vu band, making it a festival to remember!
Step into a time capsule and witness the magic of vintage classics! On September 4th, 2021, the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) and the Heritage Motoring Club Pakistan (HMCP) joined forces to organize an unforgettable “Vintage Classic Car Show” in Galiyat. This enchanting event showcased 45 magnificent vintage cars and bikes from all corners of Pakistan, including a regal 1940s Royal Royce. The picturesque town of Nathiagali in Galiyat welcomed these automotive treasures, offering a glimpse into a bygone era and fueling the spirit of tourism in the region.
Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) is at the forefront of sustainable tourism development, introducing state-of-the-art projects to meet the needs of tourists. The latest initiatives encompass Floral Plantation, Backlight Streamer, Umbrella Streets, Roadside Signboards, Sitting Areas, Location Points, Photo Points, and Rain Shelters. These endeavors aim to enhance the visitor experience and create a vibrant, welcoming environment for all who explore the region.
The Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) organized the GDA T-10 League, a cricket tournament aimed at showcasing the young talent of Galiyat. Spanning from September 16th to 29th, 2021, the league saw 58 local teams from across the Galiyat region participating and displaying their skills. The thrilling final match took place on September 29th, 2021, at the breathtaking cricket ground of Khanspur – Galiyat. In a sensational game, Galiyat Tigers emerged victorious, defeating Ayubian Hawks to clinch the title of the GDA T-10 Cricket League 2021.
